Data Engineer (Junior)

Key responsibilities:
- - Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures for our data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
- - Author complex SQL queries and work with various databases, both SQL and NoSQL.
- - Develop and optimize big data solutions to support business analytics and reporting needs.
- - Collaborate with data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- - Develop and update business intelligence reports using BI platforms like Metabase.
- - Provide technical expertise in data models, database design, and data integration processes.
Requirements::
- - 1 year of experience at least.
- - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- - Proven experience with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, or similar.
- - Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- - In-depth knowledge of data models, ETL processing, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- - Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
- - Familiarity with business intelligence platforms, particularly Metabase, and experience in developing and updating BI reports.
- - Knowledge about frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Zookeeper...
- - Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- - Master's degree in a related field.
- - Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
- - Experience with SQL queries.
- - Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
- - Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Metabase or any related BI tools.
- - Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics.
